I think that the reason forums like this exist is because no such link, or program, currently exists ...
... the very possibility (or capabilities) of such a tool is itself a matter of debate
And this is a good place to discuss all these things ... there is, however, no downloadable "solution" ......

how so no download? a friend said some goof had some sort of online vb5 decompiler once that i could not find so i can't vouch for it. it's almost 2005 and there should be something out there. Please help with any info.

There are many decompilers available....
Every programmer on this site is a decompiler....
Every decompiler has some form of automated version of their own accumulated knowlegde regarding VB5/6 to help them decompile things.
As you share knowledge....others will share with you.
