I noticed that too. Looks like some UBER HAXOR added a little code.
PHPBB have had a lot of security updates lately.

I have DOWNGRADED the previous portal system to a simple forum scheme!
The reasons:
* Easier and faster to mantain
* Save us bandwidth
* Since it is simpler and it has alot less code to process, then it will have faster load times
As usual if you find something odd, or you would like some old function back, please say so!
And I'm very sorry for the downtime
